A Facades Package Manager is required for a Top-5 UK Main Contractor, with a turnover in excess of £1bn. This well known brand has an excellent brand and a very healthy pipeline of projects with 8 live schemes in the London region at the moment.

In this role you will be responsible for taking the lead on the delivery of one of the largest regeneration schemes in the UK. The project comprises of the construction of a very large residential development including over 1000 units and Leisure space with a total project value in excess of £155 million.

This is a well-run project with a strong team, so we are looking for a professional candidate who sets high standards with their methods of work and management style. The successful applicant will need significant experience in large scale, complex residential developments in the London region and a strong background in external works and packages.

Preferred Experience:

  • Candidate will be CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certified
  • Must have experience of managing facade/envelope packages such as, Metsec, SFS, Rain screen cladding and brickwork/masonry
  • Experience of working for main or sub-contractors is preferable
  • Strong management, organisational and communication skills are a must
  • Should live within easy commutable distance to the London region.

Typical Duties:

  • Management of the subcontract workforce
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance to design and specification
  • Maintain records & maintain detailed diary.
  • Ensure awareness of planned work that concern your responsibility on site.
  • Have a clear understanding of planned work and communicate this to the team.
  • Assist the contract in achieving operational standards.
  • Checking permits to work.
  • Anticipate and resolve issues.
  • Assist in the production of accurate and timely material reconciliations
  • Attend site meetings with the main contractors, sub-contractors and client to communicate planned work
  • Deliver the project snag-free
