Position: Document Controller

Rate of Pay:£150 per day

Employer: Tier 1 Main Contractor / Developer

Start Date: Tuesday 12th June 2018

Duration: 2 Months minimum, option to extend to 12month contract - performance dependant

Document Controller

Our client is seeking a document controller to begin work on Tuesday 12th June 2018. They are an award-winning developer with an excellent reputation. The project is conveniently located in West London nearby to many public-transport links.


Document control including distribution of design information to stakeholders and supply chain

  • Maintaining a drawing register and production of drawing issue sheets on
  • Uploading and maintaining records of design information, archiving revised information
  • Maintaining Site Filing and electronic systems
  • Maintaining and creating records for BREEAM, Considerate Contractor, KPI's, Monthly Site Reports, etc
  • Commercial duties - sending tender enquiries, creating subcontract comparisons in excel, collating order documents
  • Production duties - Issuing notices, programmes, etc
  • Maintaining Health & Safety Files, Project Pack and chasing / collating information
  • Collating O & M manuals, chasing information from stakeholders and supply chain
  • Other duties as and when from the Site Team - Project Manager, Site Manager and Project QS

Required Qualifications

  • GCSE's / A Levels
  • A relevant degree or certificate in higher education (desirable but not essential)


  • Experience working in a similar capacity in previous roles
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft package- mainly Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Experience working with document control software
  • Experience working within the construction industry

Training will be provided.

Working hours are flexible but will be full time, approx. 37.5 hours per week.
