Senior Site Engineer

I am currently recruiting a Senior Site Engineer to join a regional contractor operating across the Midlands, the contractor has an office in Doncaster with projects in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire.

The successful candidate will have experience working on Highways schemes, s278, S38 and a knowledge of concrete structures as well as experience of providing setting-out and engineering control on site.

As Site Engineer, you will be responsible;

• Overseeing the Site Engineers within the region
• Attending pre-contract meetings with the Clients and the Senior Management Team
• Assisting the Project Managers with their day to day running of their sites
• Training and developing junior engineers
• Providing technical assistance to the project team where required
• Coordinating the technical aspects of package handovers when required
• QA where required
• Checking the accuracy of sub-contractors work where required

Requirements

• Must have similar experience working for UK contractors
• Must have experience as a Senior Engineer with experience of managing site engineers
• Must be flexible to Work across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire
• Available to start in June/July 2022
