Our client, one of Europe's largest contractors with an annual turnover of over £6 billion, are seeking a passionate and empowered Section Engineer to join their team in Guildford. The project, worth over £70 million, is a large-scale water treatment works that is due to start in Autumn that will consist heavily of civils, heavy structures, and tunnelling.

The Section Engineer Package

• £38,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

Section Engineer Responsibilities

• Regularly communicate with senior engineer as well as contractors and consultants
• Comply with health & safety and legal legislations
• Managing the selection and acquisition of materials
• Monitoring budgets
• Mentoring and managing site engineers
• Ensure specification documents and drawings are accurate and sufficient

Section Engineer Requirements

• Relevant experience in the same or similar role
• Excellent communication and teamworking skills
• BEng Civil Engineering or similar
• CSCS Card
• SMSTS & First Aid preferable
