The employer frequently works on the UK and international projects, so there's a lot of opportunities to grow and develop on different projects at home and abroad.

The Project

You will be working at the site based office in Harlow, and the project itself is working on highway/ motorway with a focus on the civils package, which is valued at around £42M.

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Procurement Officer, you will be reporting to the Head of Procurement. Typical duties include:

Dealing with all subcontractor orders
Travelling to different sites within a 50-mile radius
Accurate and efficient data entry of the company's intranet
Negotiation with the supply chain.
Working with options A, B, C and E.
Working alongside the Head of Procurement with the support of a junior Procurement Assistant.


University or college-educated in a Commercial degree, ideally in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
Must have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably in highway or roads.
Should have experience in Crossrail or Network rail.
Should be great with people, a good communicator & natural collaborator
Should have a track record of negotiation skills and be able to provide examples when asked.
