Freelance Site Engineer

Vacancy: Site Engineer/ Setting Out Engineer

Unite People are working with specialist civils & construction contractor to hire a freelance Site Engineer to work on a project in Durham.

Working with the main contractor; you will be required to set out and provide for both the goundworks elements and new-build of a commercial scheme, including drainage, externals, HD bolts, steel and a car park.

Qualifications or Required Experience:

• CSCS Card
• HND, HNC or Civil Engineering degree is preferred
• Previous experience as an Engineer, setting out of groundworks packages and steel frame packages.
• Ability to work under deadlines, organising and prioritising deadlines to meet construction programme targets
• Understanding of setting out, using and EDM/ Total station.
• Preferably provide laptop and surveying software
