Looking for a Contracts Manager role with a leading civil engineering contractor?
Our client are looking to hire a Contracts Manager to join their successful and expanding business unit in West Yorkshire. They deliver Heavy Civil, Infrastructure and Utilities projects for local authorities, private developers and on large scale projects. Projects will generally range from £1m-10m and the ideal candidate would have experience working in the sectors of civil engineering, enabling work, rail, water and infrastructure.
Contracts Manager Role:
Reporting to the Operations Director
Multiple site teams reporting into you
Managing supply chain partners
Commercial responsibility / Cost Management
Enthusiasm to develop the business unit, embedding the business with current and new clients
Develop the team around you
Contracts Manager Qualifications / Experience:
Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
Extensive Civil Engineering experience - earthworks, groundworks, drainage, roads, structures, utilities
Previously worked at Senior Project Manager, Contracts Manager or Project Director level
Knowledge of procurement and contract documents
