Business Development Manager -
I am currently recruiting for a National Tier 1 Contractor building their brand throughout the South and in need of a Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop trusting relationships with our Clients, Consultants and Supply Chain so we are their Contractor of choice
- Have a very good ability to listen to and understand a Client's needs and concerns (don't just hear what you want to hear)
- Have good empathy for Clients and the struggles they have with resources, funding, design development, politics and ever evolving policy and strategy
- Engage with Designers & Cost Consultants to extract knowledge and intel on pipeline schemes
- Build relationships with Designers and Cost Consultants so that they promote us positively to Clients and they want us to be their D&B partners
- Continually update pipeline on CRM ensuring scheme details are current and valid
- Conduct Bid/No Bid assessments on opportunities and compile a project score
- Coordinate Events and Corporate Hospitality for our Teams and Clients
- Work closely with Regional Director for the South to help grow the Southern Business in line with the UK Civils Strategy
- Develop Comms strategies and key messaging that aligns with critical bids for the Civils Business targeting a wide range of mediums and platforms
