Position: Envelope Manager / Site Manager

Sector: Building, Construction

Location: Surrey

Rate of Pay: £275-£325 per day, negotiable DOE

Duration: 12 Months

Envelope Manager:

An excellent contract job-opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager, to oversee the envelope element of a £60m new-build commercial project in Surrey.

The employer is a Top-10 award winning Main Contractor, with a reputation for good quality. They undertake a variety of construction projects ranging from £10-£100m in value, predominantly in the Commercial sector.

Duties:

As Envelope Manager, you will own the successful day to day running of the Roofing, Brickwork, Cladding & Curtain Walling packages.

Effective subcontract management is essential, as is relevant experience undertaking a similar role. You will be responsible for short-term programming of each package, daily/weekly site set-ups and progress meetings, managing of delivery and H&S standards.

You will have the full support & resources of the project team behind you, to aid you in the successful delivery of the scheme. Included but not limited to Design, Quality, Commercial, Administration and the full support of the site-based Project Manager.

Requirements:

- Experience in roofing, brickwork, cladding & curtain walling primarily.

- Will be managing the above packages and coordinating their works

- Capable of working to a main programme but producing own short tern programmes..

- First Aid Certificate

- SMSTS

- CSCS is not mandatory

- Appoint Person for Lifting would be useful, but not essential

- Competent with QA systems
