Position: Site Engineer

Location: Glasgow, Scotland Central Belt

Rate:£240.00 - £250.00 per day

Duration: 8 months, commencing September 2018

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer. Our client, a medium to large sized building contractor with an excellent reputation; are looking to appoint a Site Engineer to undertake setting out duties on an interesting project in Glasgow.

Duties

As Site Engineer, you will report to a Senior Engineer, and will be responsible for;

  • Setting Out
  • Maintaining line & level control
  • Measurements & Calculations
  • Interpretation of technical drawings
  • Producing as-built and topographical surveys
  • Providing technical assistance to the project team where required
  • Coordinating the technical aspects of package handovers
  • QA where required
  • Checking the accuracy of sub-contractors work where required

Skills & Experience

Ideally you will be qualified to HNC level or above in an engineering or construction related subject, supported by 5+ years practical experience in the role of Site Engineer.

Specifically, you should have experience working on large Buildings, Groundwork Packages or Civil Engineering projects.

In return, we're offering 8 months work at a highly competitive rate of pay, in an excellent working environment. As Site Engineer, you will have the full support of the Project Manager, Site Manager and Senior Engineer.

  • Relevant Experience (essential)
  • Live within a commutable distance to Glasgow
  • Available to start in September 2018
