Site Engineer

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Setting Out Site Engineer. My client, a rapidly growing main contractor with a fantastic reputation with a £420 million turnover; are looking to appoint a Site Engineer on a £17m new build steel frame development

Duties

As Site Engineer, you will report to the senior engineer and project manager, and will be responsible for;

• Setting Out
• Maintaining line & level control
• Measurements & Calculations
• Interpretation of technical drawings
• Producing as-built and topographical surveys
• Providing technical assistance to the project team where required
• Coordinating the technical aspects of package handovers
• QA where required
• Checking the accuracy of sub-contractors work where required

Skills & Experience

Ideally you will be qualified to HNC level or above in an engineering or construction related subject, supported by 5+ years practical experience in the role of Site Engineer.

Specifically, you should have experience working on large steel framed Buildings, Groundwork Packages or Civil Engineering projects.

• Live within a commutable distance to Kent
