Senior Quantity Surveyor

Unite People Build are working with a privately owned consultancy in Sheffield, specialising in claims works. Seeking to hire a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager with claims experience from a contracting background for a salary opportunity.

The types of assignments undertaken vary to supporting main contractors and sub-contractors working in both construction and civil engineering industries. Our client has a pool of in-house talent and delegate accordingly, considering each employees experience and knowledge

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with all relevant stakeholders to obtain the required information in relation to the claim
• Analysing information and documents
• Understanding construction contracts and build narrative around supporting information in relation to the contracts
• Assess any grounds for negligence, valuations etc and present findings
• Supporting Quantum Experts

Qualifications:

• Construction related qualification
• Either Diploma in Adjudication or MSc Construction Law & Arbitration
• Ideally RICS Membership (not essential
