Vacancy: Site Manager

Unite People are working alongside a regional construction contractor to hire an Assistant Site Manager, based in Yorkshire.

The successful individual will be self-motivated, forward-thinking with either a trades, engineering or degree background. The Assistant Site Manager will be responsible for providing support to the Site Manager and Site team, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

Training and development would be provided to the succesful candidate, with a career path to progress in management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Site Manager in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Manages the relationship with the groundworks/ civils sub-contractor onsite
  • Drive the project Programme
  • Assist in leading and motivatubg trades staff and site team
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Required Qualifications & Training

  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS (Preferable)
  • First Aid (Preferable)
  • Previous experience of managing steel frame builds or commercial units would be beneficial
  • Strong People Management experience
  • Strong people skills
