Unite People Build are working with a specialist contractor to hire an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a salary position in the Rotherham, South Yorkshire area. The successful candidate will be working on a variety of smaller value contracts simultaneously

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
• Collaborate with project teams to monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycles.
• Assist with monthly and final accounts
• Monthly payments
• Monthly valuations

Qualifications:

• Construction related qualification
• Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and take initiative when necessary.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
