Unite People Build is working with a client that specialises in the construction field, that requires a Site Manager in West Yorkshire. They work with a handful of key clients on negotiated New Build contracts. Schemes range from around £2m to £8m in value and are predominantly New Build or extension to an existing build.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide input to facilitate successful delivery of construction from groundworks, to M&E and fit-out packages
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and subcontractors to understand project requirements and expectations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site.
- Oversee project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide regular project updates to clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Proactively identify and address potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones and final delivery.
Qualifications:
- Construction related qualification preferred but not essential
- Proven experience as a Site Manager
- CSCS, First Aid, SMSTS
- Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
