Quantity Surveyor

Unite People Build is working with an established, specialist main contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. To work with their commercial team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a Quantity Surveyor. You will be working with a privately owned company, that partners with a number of clients on a framework basis. You will be working with an experienced commercial team, which is currently growing and providing opportunities to progress.

The successful candidate be working with an established group of clients with an impressive order book already going forward into 2024 & 2025 for framework wins and tendered contracts.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Cost Plans
• Engaged in pre-start meetings & clients representatives
• Sub-contractor procurement, orders, payments
• CVR's
• Valuations
• Cashflow forecasting
• Final accounts
• Project financial reporting

Your background:

• Construction related qualification
• Experience working for a main contractor (preferred not essential)
